XR Horizon, The Metaverse Platform Development Company in India, collaborated with Sree Gokulam Movies to create a dedicated metaverse venue for the trailer launch of Pathonpatham Noottandu. A fully custom-built 19th-century Travancore palace was designed as the virtual event space, complete with holographic appearances from the director and producer. This marked XR Horizon’s first large-scale metaverse production and introduced a new promotional format to Malayalam cinema.

Challenge & Solution

The primary challenge was recreating a culturally and architecturally authentic 19th-century setting. Through extensive reference studies and close collaboration with the film’s creative team, XR Horizon developed a highly detailed virtual royal durbar hall that matched the film’s visual language.

Our Process

We worked closely with the creators to understand period architecture, interior layouts, and cultural details. This understanding allowed us to create a 3D palace environment featuring holographic avatars and supporting visual elements. We also incorporated character cut-outs and visual elements from the film to enhance the settings.

Result Driven

The metaverse trailer launch became a landmark moment in Malayalam cinema, generating strong media traction and high audience participation. The project demonstrated XR Horizon’s capability to deliver large-scale virtual events and highlighted how metaverse experiences can elevate film promotions.
