For the official launch of Kerala Fibre Optic Network (KFON), XR Horizon produced a live Augmented Reality show that explained what KFON is, how it works, and its statewide digital impact. The event was held in the presence of Hon. Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan, and senior officials. The show combined narration, real-time AR visuals to simplify KFON’s technology, connectivity model, and citizen benefits for a large public audience.

Challenge & Solution

KFON is a large-scale, technically complex project. The challenge was to simplify its component’s network architecture, deployment process, connectivity coverage, and beneficiary groups into an engaging AR story suitable for a live audience. We addressed this by deconstructing the KFON framework into simple, digestible segments. Structuring the flow with narration, visualization and designing visuals that clearly depicted the network’s scale, community impact, and technological depth.

Our Process

The project began with detailed discussions and research to understand KFON’s technical backbone. This helped us structure the script and define the visualization flow. Our team then developed AR sequences covering network rollout, fibre connectivity, key beneficiaries, and statewide digital impact. Working within a tight five-day timeline, we executed the full production with precision and coordinated delivery. As our first live AR show, it received strong appreciation and set a benchmark for future public event AR projects

Result Driven

The AR show transformed the KFON launch into an engaging and visually rich experience. It made a complex project easy to understand and added a high-impact storytelling layer that impressed officials, media, and the audience.
